Immigration specialist lawyers, Newland Chase
last night hosted a lively Fundraising Quiz at Henry’s Bar, Canary Wharf in aid of the Women’s Interlink Foundation
charity, which rescues and rehabilitates trafficked women and children in India.
With teams from JP Morgan, Barclays, House of Modern Living, Re:locate and of course Newland Chase, it was a great evening with some fiendish questions, specially designed for the global experts present.
The top four teams ended with just three points between them – and Newland Chase were rather embarrassed to find that they had won – but Managing Partner Zafar Mirza insisted that the prize and title should go to the next team in line, so Barclays, aka ‘The Fraud Squad’ were triumphant.
Asma Bashir, Managing Partner at Newland Chase unfortunately couldn’t be there, but donated an extra £500 to the cause. Damian Mohammed, Newland Chase’s Head of Marketing and Business Development organised the evening and was a fair but firm Quizmaster beating off a number of cheeky appeals. Many thanks go to him and all at Newland Chase.
The firm plans to hold another Quiz next year, but in the meantime, if you couldn’t make it last night, try these sample questions:
- Which airport does the baggage control CDX code stand for?
- Which country has the internet domain name ending in .bb?
