Cambridge International School, now part of the International Schools Partnership, was founded in 2006 and offers a unique learning experience for children aged 2 – 16. The individual talents of each student are valued and nurtured, through the creation of a happy and inspiring environment.  We combine traditional values with a modern, ambitious and internationally focused approach to learning. Class sizes are small and teaching is personalised to the individual. We equip our students with a set of skills for the future, creating independent thinkers, who have the ability and desire to contribute to the wider world.

Cambridge International School has students from 40 countries, speaking 30 different languages and we celebrate the diversity of having students from around the globe.  Our unique Mother Tongue programme ensures students continue to study in their own language through small group tuition by native speakers in at least 12 different languages.

Our Enrichment Programme, cultivates students’ wider interests and inspires them to be inquisitive, dynamic and creative thinkers. We develop well-rounded, confident young individuals with an extensive range of skills that are attractive to both higher education institutions and future employers.  We offer a wide variety of cultural trips to museums, galleries and theatres, as well as international trips for our senior students, which have in the past included visits to Iceland, Geneva and New York.

The Junior School at Cherry Hinton Hall is currently undergoing a thorough refurbishment, which once completed in the late autumn of 2017, will provide a light, modern and spacious environment for children to pursue their individual intellectual curiosities.  They will learn in vibrant and stimulating surroundings, benefitting from our new outdoor learning programmes and Forest School curriculum, further enhancing their own unique learning and development.

The new centrally enclosed early learning courtyard will provide a fun and inspiring activity space for the school’s youngest children, linked closely with the internal teaching spaces, and outdoor room for covered learning. The new ‘Giant's Garden’ linked to Cherry Hinton Brook will offer opportunities for children to extend their learning from the library to the outdoors, ensuring that the redeveloped school integrates with its beautiful setting in Cherry Hinton Park. The improved teaching and learning spaces will provide contemporary and inspiring environments, whilst retaining the unique historical character and setting of the school.

The new nursery at Cherry Hinton Hall will provide an extended and greatly enhanced Nursery provision for children aged from two to four years of age and will be open 50 weeks of the year.

“I am delighted to be appointed as Principal of Cambridge International School. It is an exciting opportunity and I am looking forward to returning to Cambridge with my family and to immersing myself in the life of the school, as well as reconnecting with the local community.

“My ambition is to develop in my students a lifelong love of learning and to ensure that they are equipped with the skills that they will need for the challenges that lie ahead in later life.

“Cambridge International School is currently undergoing an exciting time with the development at Cherry Hinton Hall. Once complete it will prove an inspirational setting for the personal development of the children, and I am thrilled to be part of it.”
