Our History

With roots that can be traced back two decades, Magellan Champlain has carved its own place in the global citizenship, immigration and relocation consulting industry as an indispensable advisor to corporations, organizations, institutions and high-net worth individuals. The Sri Lankan based operation started offering private clientele investment residency and citizenship programs across the globe and immigration compliance advice to corporates under the Evisalaw name. In 2009, with the dawn of a new-era of peace in the country, founder-CEO Sarrah Sammoon  concluded that the firm can use its values and trust in the country to offer relocation services to corporate and private clientele entering Sri Lanka under the brand of Sri Lanka Relocation Services.

Due to clients’ demands, MC went on to incorporate SCG in the space of corporate real estate & investments and SCG Advisory for compliance advice and due diligence training for corporates in the field of mobility. In 2017, the firm began revisiting the two decade journey and reflected on its growth and position globally. It became clear that, over time, the culture of the organisation had evolved to provide clients with a unique strategic global mobility advice and that was how Magellan Champlain was born.
