British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park is the only Nursery – Grade 5, private school in Chicago offering rigorous academics through individualized, global and innovative hands-on-learning experiences. Our unique campus focuses on the educational needs of 3-11 year olds and extends learning beyond the classroom by taking advantage of Chicago's vast historic and cultural offerings. In addition to the globally recognized curricula our school provides, both the English National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum, BISC-LP expands our students' horizons with a global perspective. Thoughtfully chosen topics are woven through out students' daily schedules and across all subjects to ensure students benefit fully from an international experience. Our global campus connects our 34,000 plus students among our 42 schools worldwide with virtual connections like our debate leagues or global challenges to our in person experiences like our Juilliard Summer performing arts program in Switzerland.
The Lincoln Park campus facilities provide students with a full STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) corridor which gives them the opportunity to benefit from cross curricular activities and gain 21st century skills. Our maker space and robotics lab help support our unique innovation and entrepreneurialship curriculum, students experience building a business from conception through execution in a maker faire. Our 7,500 square foot gymnasium supports a full sports program. In support of The Juilliard – Nord Anglia performing arts programme our campus offers two music classroom, a practice room and dance studio as well as a full after school arts program to continue the learning from the school day.
