Hong Kong International School (HKIS) is a leading private co-educational college preparatory school for students from Reception One (pre-kindergarten) to Grade 12. Since 1966, HKIS has provided an American-style education grounded in the Christian faith. Beyond Books
Education outside the classroom is an essential part of student life at HKIS. Local and international school trips lasting up to a week create an opportunity for community building, and allow students to deepen their educational experience through cultural immersion and service learning. HKIS also offers 25 extra-curricular activities, from chess to rock climbing, sports to Scouts. In addition, HKIS has a competitive athletics program with over 50 teams competing in local and international conferences.
