Heathfield School in Ascot is an independent weekly, full boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18. Girls benefit from the unique and unrivalled opportunities that this small school provides. Excellent 2016 A Level results, A*- A 42% and A*- B 75%, saw pupils confirming places at top UK universities including Edinburgh, Oxford, Newcastle, University College London and Warwick. Girls also gained places at Central Saint Martins, The Academy of Contemporary Music and Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne.
Pupils enjoyed success at GCSE too with 47% A*- A, 83% A*- B and 99% A*- C.
In 2015, Heathfield’s Value Added score ranked in the top 17% of all schools nationally. Value Added is a score produced by the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring at Durham University, which analyse subject performance and pupil ability data. This means that pupils at Heathfield are more likely to exceed their projected academic targets than at 83% of other schools nationally.
Heathfield is the first school in the UK to join with the London College of Fashion at the University of the Arts London for a unique and ongoing progression partnership which came about because of the exceptional talent they witnessed at the annual Fashion Show.
Heathfield was awarded a record fifth Good Schools Guide in the same category – best performance in a British school for girls taking Art and Design (Photography) at A Level in 2015.
The new state-of-the-art STEM facility officially opened in January 2016 by Professor Winston, is already inspiring a new generation with a love of the Sciences.
The sporting facilities within the 36 acre site includes a large multi-purpose Sports Hall, two Squash courts, a Dance studio, gym, five Lacrosse pitches, six Netball/Tennis courts and a 25m indoor heated Swimming pool. Heathfield competes successfully in Athletics, Lacrosse, Netball, Polo, Rounders, Skiing, Swimming and Show-Jumping.
Boarding accommodation at Heathfield is first class with girls having their own single rooms from Form IV upwards while Sixth Formers live together in Wyatt House a similar environment to university halls of residence, where they can cook together in one of the two kitchens.
