Pathways Schools are a group of International K12 and Pre-Primary schools in Gurgaon and Noida (Delhi NCR region of India). The curriculum includes the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) of the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) of Geneva. Over the past decade Pathways has enrolled students from over 59 nationalities.
While preserving the best in traditional and International education and culture, we have opted for a student-centered system with ample opportunities for project work and discovery learning, guided by a well-qualified international teaching faculty. In Order to ensure that every student’s talents are developed to the full, the schools apply the Multiple Intelligence approach, developed by Dr Howard Gander from Harvard University.
Pathways has created a benchmark in the purposeful use of technology in school education with universal radio networking and by integrating information communication technology (ICT) with classroom learning. There are specialized studios for co-curricular activities like dance, music, theatre and a design technology workshop. The schools also include a library and media centre, amphitheatre and atriums with skylight in each building to promote out of class interactions and seminars.
Pathways also houses a rich variety world class sporting facilities of International tournament standards. Students involve themselves in a host of International events as well as Inter-school Exchanges. Students also engage in community service activities through our Community & Rural Environment Programmes.
Our curriculum has been devised keeping in mind the requirements of students from different cultural backgrounds. Significant steps in this regard include EAL/ESL (English as Additional/Second language) programmes run by specialist teachers. Qualified Special Educators in the Additional Learning Support (ALS) department offer support for students with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD and Asperger Syndrome and also students who are slow learners and are under achieving in core subjects. The Special Educators set the admissions policy so as to ensure that the schools is able to, and has sufficient resources to meet the needs of such students.
Department of Career & Guidance cell helps every student to explore possibilities.
