What are the new leadership skills required in today’s rapidly changing global marketplace? Why do we need to change the way we lead teams and companies, and how can we make the workplace more women-friendly and diverse? What are the benefits of a truly inclusive way of working and how can we make that happen?

At this exciting workshop to celebrate International Women’s Day, a wide range of women from diverse industries will be sharing their experiences of making changes on a micro and macro level. Join our coaches and speakers to hear how nurturing female talent – your own and that of your colleagues – can solve skill shortages, close the gender pay gap and help find the right candidates for international assignments.

An organisation that is women-friendly can also be family-friendly, too. We’ll look at how to develop a better work-life balance for all employees – men and women of all ages and with different responsibilities outside the workplace. We’ll share tips and case studies of how to include a wider range of voices and talents – from the shop floor to the boardroom – in order to create a vibrant workforce and reflect the nature of the customers or clients we deal with.

You’ll hear how change, both on a departmental level and company-wide, is being implemented by successful organisations in order to leverage the talents of all employees, improve productivity, and nurture talent.

11am Morning Session

What does leadership mean in 2019, and how does a female perspective fit into that? Join the Think Women community to exchange views and be inspired by women across diverse industries who are already making waves in their sector or community. Learn how they have made a difference in their organisations and how you can implement change in your working life.

Our experienced coaches are on hand to help you identify areas where you can develop and hone your skillset. They’ll provide tips on how to develop your personal toolkit to overcome challenges, whether these are professional, or in terms of career progression and family life.

Liberate your creativity and find different ways of thinking with our artist in residence, Peter Moolan-Feroz. He will reveal how to use the power of creativity to supercharge your thinking and drive positive change in yourself and in your workplace.

1.20pm Lunch

Before our lunch at 1.20pm, hear our keynote speaker Lauren Touré of Frost Included f(i) talk about how companies need to embrace diversity and seek out a variety of talent from a range of backgrounds in order to survive in today’s competitive markets. She’ll unveil a new vision for leadership which will take you out of your comfort zone and challenge you to think about how you manage, recruit and retain staff, and how to bring about real change and help women achieve professional and personal success. Lauren Touré has over 12 years’ experience within the diversity and social inclusion sector including the London Olympics 2012 Organising Committee’s Diversity and Inclusion Team to help them attract, recruit and train a record number of disabled volunteers by Games time.
