US immigration attorney needed in Central London
A London-based immigration services company is seeking a US immigration attorney. The successful candidate will establish an inbound US immigration service and must have solid US immigration experience.
Responsibilities
- Have a solid understanding and prepare/process cases for immigrant and non-immigrant visas for employment, including B1/B2, E1/E2/H1B, K1, L1, O, P and EB1, EB2, EB3 and EB5 permanent resident transactions, as well as naturalisation cases
- Evaluate and organise family-based immigration cases, including I-130 filing, Adjustment of Status and Removal of Conditions
- Specialisation in National Interest Waiver
- Provide coaching assistance to international executives
- Prepare and educate clients in interview processes at consulate offices abroad, as well as preparing the entire file for consular processing
- Present to European organisations on transitioning to the US
- Coordinate marketing strategies with allies in Europe
- Organise and speak at conferences
- Develop business according to market trends
- Maintain contacts and schedule follow-up meetings
- Verify and research potential employee’s education and experience background
- Investigate and research police records and websites for any criminal history
- Utilise the client’s CRM to research candidates deemed fit for employment
- Reference check and verify former employment
- Conduct behaviour evaluations for suitable fit within the company culture
- Manage financial performance across the client base to achieve revenue goals and profitability targets
- Ensure that service fees and referral fee revenues are recorded accurately and timely
- Monitor and support collecting aged receivables within the guidelines established by the company and the Accounts Receivable group to ensure proper company cash flow
Qualifications and experience
Candidates must have solid experience in US immigration and hold a State Bar License.They must be commercially aware and understand how best to develop the business.The successful candidate will be confident in marketing the company’s services and creating a worldwide client base from which to generate business.
