The unique nature of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and an education at Dwight opens the doors to a diverse range of courses and universities around the world with our students will be going to study in the United States and Japan. With the nature of the early IB results, compared with those of A’ Levels, our students have already had weeks to prepare with certainty over what they will be doing next year. The International Baccalaureate at Dwight fosters students who develop an excellent breadth and depth of knowledge and flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically. This provides more opportunities for our students to secure places at a diverse range of university destinations; they include:
  • UK: Kings College London, University of Manchester, University of Bristol, University of Exeter and Goldsmiths.
  • USA: Northeastern University & California Lutheran
  • Japan: Keio University
These results build on Dwight School London's status as an ISI-rated school of excellence. We are a non-selective international school and everyone at Dwight School London is incredibly proud of the IB Diploma results from our graduating Class of 2024.Finn, a graduating student, said, “I’m proud of my score of 42, less because of what it says about me academically and more as a testament to the willingness of myself and the people around me - my teachers, parents and peers - to experiment. Dwight has always prioritised personalised learning, putting my learning and happiness as an individual over the ‘conventional’ way of doing things. I think the fact that I’ve managed to get a 42 on the IB highlights how amazing Dwight’s approach is.”Chris Beddows, Head of School, said, "Our dedicated commitment to having the lowest average class sizes amongst independent international schools means we provide unparalleled personalised learning which leads to student success. I am so proud of our graduating students who have worked incredibly hard over the past two years and fully deserve to enjoy their summer in the knowledge that they'll be going onto some of the world’s most outstanding universities and pursuing their Spark of Genius in a range of exciting courses.”The results in full:
  • 7 students achieved bilingual diplomas
  • The top individual score was 42 (equivalent of 3 A*s at A Level)
  • The average point score was 33 compared to the global average of 30
