Panel speakers
Elaine Héry, Founder and Managing Director of eres Relocation and Eres Legal
Eres Relocation provides destination & immigration services in 7 European countries (Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Czech Republic), and Eres Legal provides immigration services all over Europe.
Elaine is British and moved to live and work in Spain for one year in 1991. When that year ended,(and the job with it) and with no desire at all to leave Spain to return to the UK, Elaine began to provide destination services to US nationals arriving in Barcelona with a major US multi national company.
Thirty four years on, those timid beginnings have developed into an international destination services company with 120 employees and 200 field consultants, operating in 7 countries and working with more than 800 global client companies. In 2024 eres managed more than 8000 international services.
Eres won the 2024 Relocate Global awards for best European Destination Provider and for Recruitment and talent retention.
Elaine studied History & Business management in the UK, and International marketing and communication at INSEAD Business school in Paris. She lives in a small mountain town , 30 kms outside Barcelona with her husband and son and her very energetic golden retriever Shelby.
Despite her more than 30 years in the Global Mobility Industry, Elaine is still learning: “Stay curious, positive and optimistic, always, try to learn something new, and look for the humour every day” is her mantra. Building great international teams, learning from them and helping them to realize their full potential is what she finds most rewarding about her own global mobility role.
As Elaine, together with her business partner, José Antonio deRos, lead eres into the future, their mission is to become the leading European provider of destination and immigration services, with operations in every European country.
