Annebet van Mameren is the founder of New2NL, a specialized education consultancy for international families living in or moving to the Netherlands. She is Dutch, mother, and married to an American. She has a thorough understanding of the (educational) challenges faced by international families when moving to the Netherlands.

Pauline Son is Director Operations and Sales of the Relocation department of the Expat Management Group in Amsterdam. Pauline is Dutch, has worked in Relocation for more than 25 years and lived in Asia for a few years. With her team, she supports internationals with a wide choice of home search and settling-in programs to cover all details that need to be arranged when moving abroad.

Annebet van Mameren, Founder New2NL

New2NL is a specialized education consultancy for international families living in or moving to the Netherlands. 

Annebet van Mameren, the founder of New2NL, is Dutch, and married to an American. They are based in Amsterdam, and have two sons who they are raising bilingually.

Annebet has a master’s degree in Organizational, Social and Personality Psychology and a research background in Intercultural Conflicts at Work. She has worked for multinational companies, lived and worked in Italy, and has a thorough understanding of the (educational) challenges faced by international families when moving to the Netherlands.

She regularly shares her knowledge and experience through international magazines and websites, and gives seminars and webinars on the Dutch education system to international companies, individual families, and at fairs.

Annebet also runs Guide2NL, a not-for-profit platform for internationals that are about to move to the Netherlands, and those who have recently moved here. Pauline Son is Director Operations and Sales of the Relocation department of the Expat Management Group. Besides relocation support, the Expat Management Group also provides highly professional immigration assistance and tax advice in the entire Benelux. 

Pauline has worked in the relocation industry for more than 25 years, has worked as a real estate agent and is a certified cross-cultural trainer. Having lived abroad (in Taiwan) with her husband and three children has been of great added value to her professional expertise. Her passion is to advise clients on how to best support international transferees and try, together with her team, to make the difference in making their moves a smooth and positive one. With continuous flexibility, they give advice and organize all practical things that need to be arranged when moving abroad like finding a house, open a bank account, the personal registration, insurances, find a doctor/dentist/the medical system, import of a car, cultural and language training, schools and daycare, and many more.
