Quest Apartments expansion and relocation focus
Quest Apartments has a presence in all capital cities and regional areas, and is continually expanding into locations emerging as corporate business hubs. It recently announced its first UK property, Quest Liverpool City Centre, with plans for further international expansion. The company’s long-standing partnership with Australia’s blue chip corporate companies and Fortune 500 companies has enabled Quest Apartment Hotels to establish long-term relationships with all key procurement and travel manager stakeholders.“These relationships are imperative because it is our role to service their employees and work closely together to ensure we meet all their needs and expectations, particularly if they are relocating from another country and are unfamiliar with their surroundings or even cultural norms,” Ms Dimitrakopoulos said.“Because Quest properties are managed by franchisees who typically live in the area, they are able to act as local guide, providing guests with advice on social activities and travel arrangements, assisting them to settle more quickly.”Toll Transitions has been working with Quest for many years to assist in coordinating the accommodation needs of some of the 27,000 relocations it manages annually on behalf of its corporate and government clients.Toll Transitions’ global relocations general manager Sue Latina-Cohen said, dealing with a partner that understood the needs of clients and delivered on its promises helped to ensure a smooth transition to a new environment.“Quest is very relocation focused and understands the importance of meeting the needs of a family when moving.” Ms Latina-Cohen said.“There are so many different moving parts to the relocation process, getting the accommodation right is a central element in determining all the other logistics associated with moving, whether that’s internationally or domestically.”Global business hubs
Ms Latina-Cohen said Quest properties were typically located in areas central to both established and emerging business hubs, and provided a high standard of service and facilities. “Our clients are aware of Quest’s reputation as a premium accommodation service provider. And particularly with Australian-based clients, we will sit down with them and say that we recommend Quest for these reasons, and many of them say, ‘yes, we know Quest and we would prefer to use them’,” Ms Latina-Cohen said.Quest guests have 24-hour access to an on-site manager, with staff able to assist with the particular needs of business travellers, including coordinating housekeeping requests such as a pantry-shopping service, valet laundry and dry-cleaning services, local restaurant chargeback arrangements, and even a babysitting booking service.Guests can conduct work calls or meetings from the comfort of their executive apartment, with high-speed broadband Internet access and wireless connectivity.
