Here is what Head Judge, Dr Sue Shortland, had to say about the "exceptional standard" of entries this year:
“It was great to see a high number of award entries, all of exceptional standard” said head judge, Dr Sue Shortland. “This made for excellent reading for the judging panel. All entrants are to be commended for their diligence in bringing to the fore fascinating examples to show how the unique circumstances of the pandemic year have been addressed” she added. “The challenging circumstances resulted in a clear focus among all upon the health and well-being of clients and staff. It was also brilliant to see such a strong emphasis upon ensuring that employee engagement remained high and, as a result, the various services delivered during 2020/21 have been truly inspirational”, she said.
