Bavarian International School e.V. in Munich is organising an education summit and career fair aiming to spark participants' curiosity in STEM-related fields and to celebrate outstanding business ideas.

An education summit organised by Bavarian International School e.V. (BIS) will see more than 300 invited guests from business, politics and education being given the opportunity to attend lectures by experts on the topic of education in the fields of economics, natural sciences, education technologies, health and social commitment.

Sparking students' curiosity in STEM

BeInSp!red Education Summit aims to spark curiosity in the field of STEM (Science, technology, engineering and maths).In addition to lectures, a “BIS University and Career Fair” will be accessible to the general public. The fair will target students and job-seekers who are interested in international education. More than 20 international universities will be present.The event will culminate in a start-up prize for the best business idea by a student.

“With the International Education Summit "BeInSp!red", we want to stimulate BIS students and all participants to take more curiosity and "look beyond the eye" in career development and personal development.“This is how we enrich the international community of Munich with international top speakers and offer an exciting platform for intercultural exchange. The summit will be supplemented by a fair in which more than 20 international universities will be present,” said Dr. Chrissie Sorenson, BIS director.

The internationally-recognised speakers include

Dr. Ralf Belusa, a naturalist and medical scientist active in technology, marketing, E-commerce and start-up industries. He is one of the top 100 opinion leaders in the digital industry across Europe. He is a consultant on digital strategies for large corporations such as Beiersdorf, Daimler, VW, Allianz, Bertelsmann, Red Bull and the federal government.Dr. Julia Offe, a promoted biologist and former employee of the Max Planck Institute and the Center for Molecular Neurobiology. She is active against pseudosciences in the “Society for the Scientific Investigation of Parascience” and also organises the "March of Science" in Hamburg.
