As coaching within organisations begins to grow, the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) hosted an event to help companies make wider use of coaching and increase its impact in the workplace.
Sharing coaching knowledge and best practice
The event brought people together in order to share knowledge and best practice. With the room at capacity there was a buzz of conversation as people compared their own experience with others.Clive Mann of Ridler & Co showcased some of the key findings from the sixth Ridler Report, which analyses strategic trends in the use of coaching. The report revealed that coaching – as well as team coaching – continues to be a growth area within organisations and that budget for this is expected to increase.Interactive session for companies to pursue next steps in coaching
Kevin McLean, head of UK Talent & Learning and Jo Winchester, Executive Director of CBRE, the commercial property and real estate services company, presented a compelling story of how CBRE has been building upon their use of coaching and the impact, both within the company and also individually. This prompted a lot of discussion as David Kesby, AoEC chief consultant guided people through an interactive session on their own next steps.Related news:
